De bedoeling was een interactieve animatie te maken in Flash MX.

The new XML class is presented and specific code examples demonstrate techniques to apply methods and use properties. Particular attention is paid to the differences between AS2 and AS3 and how to effectively transition from one AS version to the other.

Met Windows Vista en/of IE7 kun je vele websites met flashanimaties niet bekijken omdat de nieuwste Flashplayer (9) niet zou zijn geinstalleerd. Je krijgt een link om de flashplayer te downloaden.

Dit doe je, wordt geinstalleerd, terug op de betreffende website waar je de flashanimatie wil bekijken, krijg je wederom de melding dat je flashplayer een verouderde versie is, in elk geval niet de flashplayer 9.

Je twijfelt of je de nieuwste flashplayer 9 goed hebt gedownload en geinstalleerd (kun je feitelijk niet verkeerd doen omdat na het downloaden, de installatie automatisch plaatsvindt) en doet de hele procedure nog een keer.

Echter met niet het wenselijke resultaat.

Je test met andere browsers Firefox, Opera, Safari; alles werkt, niet IE 7. Je overweegt IE7 eraf te halen en IE6 weer te installeren. Bespaar je de moeite, dat lukt niet, of wel maar op eigen risico want surfen met IE6 werkt frustrerend.

Als je toch met IE7 wilt surfen en toch alle flashanimaties wilt kunnen zien, zijn er 2 mogelijkheden:

Je mailt de webmaster/webdesigner en verzoekt tot het updaten naar IE7. Er zijn tal van mogelijkheden om flash te implementeren die voor alle browsers te zien zijn, ja ook voor IE7! Kan mij voorstellen dat dit geen optie is.

2.

Verzeker je ervan dat je IE7 en Flashplayer 9 op de PC is geinstalleerd.

Gan dan naar c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash

Hier zie je een bestandje met de naam Flashutil9b. Hier klik je op.

Er verschijnt een window met de mededeling:
